Active is an association for the promotion of project-based engagement in Hamburg. According to the principle “1 team. 1 day. 1 Goal” he connects groups of volunteers with non-profit organizations that need help on a project-by-project basis. The energetic projects are characterized by the fact that the volunteers can lend a hand in a very practical and uncomplicated way for a day and support existing organizations in their valuable work. Goal of the actively e. V. is to convey the value and impact of personal commitment to volunteers through a wide range of help and encounters. People who have not yet volunteered, or who do so only rarely, are inspired to integrate volunteering into their lives.
